Corrupt Crimes, Privacy Notice
Updated as of August 10, 2015
This Privacy Notice describes how Corrupt Crimes (CC) will treat personal information and our privacy practices when you use CC services.
Personal Information
Browsing CC You can watch videos on CC without having a CC. You also can contact us by emailing directly without having to register for an account.
Your CC Account. For some activities on CC, like uploading videos or posting comments, you need a CC Account. We ask for some personal information when you create an account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.
Usage Information. When you use CC, we may record information about your usage of the site. If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your CC Account. In order to ensure the quality of our service to you, we may place a tag (also called a "web beacon") in HTML-based customer support emails or other communications with you in order to confirm delivery.
Content Uploaded to Site. Any personal information or video content that you voluntarily disclose online (e.g., video comments, your profile page) may be collected and used by others. When you upload video content to your CC Account, your content is associated with a unique personal access code.
Uses
If you submit personal information to the Corrupt Crimes Website we may use that information to operate, maintain, and improve the features and functionality of CC, and to process any flagging activity or other communication you send to us.
We do not use your email address or other personal information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. We may use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major CC changes or for customer service purposes).
We use cookies, web beacons, and log file information to: (a) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit CC; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and pages viewed; and (e) track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests.
Information That is Publicly Available
When you create a CC Account, some information about your CC Account and your account activity will be provided to other users of YouTube. This may include the date you opened your CC Account, the date you last logged into your YouTube Account, your location and the number of videos you have watched.
Your CC Account name, not your email address, is displayed to other users when you engage in certain activities on CC, such as when you upload videos or send messages through CC. Other users can contact you by leaving a message or comment on the site.
Any videos that you submit to CC may be redistributed through the Internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by other CC users or the general public.
You may also choose to add personal information, which may include your name, gender, profile picture or other details, that will be visible to other users on your CC Account page. If you choose to add certain features to your CC Account page, then these features and your activity associated with these features will be displayed to other users and may be aggregated and shared with your friends or other users. Such shared activity may include your favorite videos, videos you rated and videos that you have uploaded.
Your Choices
If you have a CC Account, you may update or correct your personal profile information, email preferences and privacy settings at any time by logging into your CC Account. You may control the information that is available to other users at any time by editing your CC Account and the features that are included on your CC Account page. You may, of course, decline to submit personal information through CC, in which case you can still view videos and explore CC, but CC may not be able to provide certain services to you.
Advertising on CC
CC strives to provide you with relevant and useful advertising and we use third party ad serving systems and strategic partnerships to do so. We may use a range of information including cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, usage data and other non-personal information about your computer or device (such as browser type and operating system) to provide you with relevant advertising. If you are logged into your CC Account, we may also show you advertising based on the information you have provided to us in your CC Account.
Advertisers may serve ads based on interests associated with non-personally identifiable online activity, such as videos viewed, frequency of uploading or activity on other partner sites. Advertisers may also serve ads to you based on previous activity on that advertiser's website. This non-personally identifiable information is held separately from your CC Account data, or other personally identifying information in our possession.
Other third-party ad serving companies may display ads throughout our platform but CC does not provide any personal information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent. CC’s privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or web sites. Any data obtained by third-party ad servers subsequently shared with CC is maintained and dealt with by CC in accordance with this privacy policy.

CC Community Guidelines
Here are some common-sense rules that we encourage and enforce within our CC community:
-
CC is not for pornography or sexually explicit content. If this describes your video, even if it's a video of yourself, don't post it on CC.
-
Graphic or gratuitous violence, violence or abuse is not allowed. If your video shows someone being physically hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't post it.
-
CC is not a shock site. Don't post gross-out videos of accidents, dead bodies or similar things intended to shock or disgust.
-
Respect copyright. Only upload videos that you made or that you are authorized to use. This means don't upload videos you didn't make, or use content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations.
-
We encourage free speech and defend everyone's right to express unpopular points of view. But we don't permit hate speech (speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity).
-
Things like predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people’s personal information, and inciting others to commit violent acts or to violate the Terms of Service are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from CC.
-
Don’t spam. Don’t create misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails in order to increase views. It's not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages.
We Enforce These Guidelines
CC staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. Sometimes a video doesn’t violate our Community Guidelines, but may not be appropriate for everyone. These videos may be age-restricted. Accounts are penalized for Community Guidelines violations and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination. If your account is terminated, you won’t be allowed to create any new accounts.
CC Supports Community
Remember that this is your community! Each and every CC user can be an active and impactful contributor, please get involved!
-
Have fun with the site. Get involved and make an impact!
-
Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue. Let folks know what you think. Feedback's part of the experience, and when done with respect, can be a great way to make friends, share stories, and make your time on CC powerful. So leave comments, rate videos, make your own responses to videos that affect you, enter contests of interest—there's a lot going on and a lot of ways to participate.
